Packaging Group Lead

 Job Summary

Manage and Supervise packaging related operations and activities at manufacturing site of pharmaceutical products

 Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities  
Conduct maintenance, revamp for facilities and packaging machines related to a packaging process of pharmaceutical products, and installation of new machine.
Supervise and instruct subordinate employees.
Perform activities in selecting and setting for facilities and equipment at the time of introduction of new products.
Exchange information on facilities and equipment for packaging process with global team.
Support members of the packaging section and provide training about GMP.
Participate in meetings with global engineering, purchasing department, and HQ purchasing. Conduct activities as an organizer for a meeting when needed. (e.g. Calling meetings, Recording minutes of meeting, Hosting meetings, collecting opinions,  consensus formation, etc…)
Prepare and review criteria and SOPs regarding the maintenance, facilities, and equipment for packaging process.
Prepare monthly and annual reports.
Cooperate with and participate in a project team for  new products.
Conduct risk assessment regarding packaging process.
Control budget
Assist HSE-related activities
Engage on special assignments from the site director.
Report to Head of Production

Individual Contributor or Line Manager     

Line Manager (of at least 2 or more)

 Competencies   
Comprehend general operations and activities of the pharmaceutical site and instruct staff  in other divisions
Relatively fluent in English to communicate with global staff.
When problem occurs, conduct current precise analysis / assessment and discover the most appropriate solution.
Find out root causes of the issue by cooperating with relevant staff/departments.
Formulate plans according to the site policy based on global team.

To achieve objectives, communicate actively with global team and other managers
Through communication, give members to work positively toward the goal.
Control and assist the budget to minimize the waste.
Control and assist risk and project of relevant operations.
