Product compliance specialist

 

Duty

You will be in charge of chemical regulatory management, hazard communications and trade compliance to ensure compliance for laws and regulations.

 

Responsibilities

Monitor all relevant laws and regulations related to chemicals, import/export activities and take a proactive approach to meet the requirements.

Make registration, notification and repot to the competent authorities in accordance with the laws on chemicals and import/export activities.

Perform GHS classification and create Safety Data Sheet (SDS), label and Yellow card etc.

Manage the customer’s inquiries about survey of environmental concerned chemicals, creation of non-use certificate and inventory status check of chemicals etc.

Perform HS code (Tariff code) assignment and prepare the certificate and the report to Customs for export and import.

Create and maintain internal rules and SOP, implement internal training, improve contentious management system of chemicals and import/export controls.

Participate in meetings with overseas staffs, exchange opinions and take a lead the regional and global projects.

 

Required experience

Chemical background (majored chemical related subjects)

Over 3 years professional experience in Regulatory Management, Product Safety or Trade Compliance

Business English language skill (Reading, Writing and Speaking)

Those who take on the challenge of new tasks with attitude of learning by themselves.

 

Preferred

Experience of SDS and label creation by SAP

Experience of chemical registration, notification and report to authorities

Knowledge of chemical regulations (Chemical Substance Control Law, Industrial Safety and Health Law, Poisonous and Deleterious Substance Control Law, Fire Service Law, PRTR, Export control law etc.)

Those who value communication with stakeholders inside and outside the company and can cooperate in drive the tasks and solve the challenges and issues.

責務

化学物質管理、ハザードコミュニケーション及びトレードコンプライアンスの業務を担当頂きます。

 

実務内容

化学物質や輸出入の関連法令を監視し、その要件を満たすよう予防的に対策を講じる。

化学物質や輸出入の関連法令で求められる届出や報告を当局に対して行う。

GHS分類を行い、安全データシート（SDS）、製品ラベル、イエローカード等を作成する。

製品に関する環境懸念物質等の含有調査、不使用証明書の作成、化学物質の各国インベントリ－登録状況等の顧客依頼事項に回答する。

HSコードの判定や輸出入に必要な該非判定書や商品説明書等の書類を作成する。

社内規程等の作成や維持管理、社内教育の実施や管理体制の継続的改善を行う。

海外担当者との会議に参加し、意見交換やプロジェクトを担当する。

 

応募条件

必須経験

化学のバックグラウンド（化学関連科目を専攻した方。）

レギュラトリー関連、製品安全又はトレードコンプライアンスの実務経験3年以上

ビジネス英語レベル（読み、書き、会話）

自ら学ぶ姿勢をもって、新しい業務にチャレンジできる方。

官公庁への登録、届出、報告等の経験

関係する法規制の専門知識（化審法、安衛法、毒劇法、消防法、化管法、外為法（輸出貿易管理令）等）

社内外の関係者とのコミュニケーションを大切にし、協力して業務を推進、問題解決ができる方。
