Principle Accountabiiityes:

  • Investigate global trends in chemical regulations and communicate their impact on electronics products to the business.
  • Create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in regions such as Singapore and Malaysia, and support chemical management operations in cooperation with local stakeholders or third-party service companies for chemical registration.
  • Conduct product classification regarding export and import regulations in Singapore and Malaysia, and operate SAP GTS for trade compliance.
  • Coordinate the execution of tests and data acquisition required for chemical registration, supporting product compliance with chemical registration in various countries.
  • Assist in the market launch of new products concerning chemical-related regulations.
  • Investigate regulatory status on themes requested by stakeholders and provide timely feedback.
  • Develop efficient chemical registration strategies through discussions with experts (SMEs: Subject Matter Experts) and various countries.
  • Analyze internal processes and procedures for product compliance and improve them effectively and efficiently.
     

  • Application Requirements:Essential Experience:

  • A degree in chemistry, with a master's or doctorate preferred.
  • More than 3 years of practical experience in chemical management, regulatory affairs, product safety, or trade compliance.
  • Business-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • A self-motivated attitude to learn and take on new challenges.
     

  • Preferred:

  • Experience creating chemical management, SDS, and labels using SAP.
  • Knowledge of chemical management regulations and registration systems in Japan and overseas.
  • Ability to value communication with internal and external stakeholders, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Capable of effective communication with both knowledgeable and non-knowledgeable parties.
  • Ability to tackle multiple challenges simultaneously and effectively.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
